The Future of "Clear" Vision: Clinical Application Exchange Conference on Wide-Angle Fundus Imaging in Ophthalmology, Endocrinology, and Physical Examination Successfully Concluded

On May 16, 2023, the "Clinical Application Exchange Conference on Wide-Angle Fundus Imaging in Multidisciplinary Fields" hosted by MicroClear Medical was successfully held in Suzhou.

Mr. Fabian Chatwin, MicroClear's overseas consultant, has been engaged in retinal fundus imaging technology for nearly 20 years and has a deep understanding of the market trends and innovative technology developments in the Asian and European fundus imaging equipment markets. Based on the current situation of the domestic and foreign markets, Fabian shared his insights on the development and prospects of new era fundus imaging technology.

Mr. Ivo Bilinec, representing his team from the Czech Republic, gave a detailed introduction on the current status of diabetes care in the Czech Republic. The Czech government attaches great importance to diabetes screening and prevention, and regularly provides free diabetes screening services, as well as a range of management and control strategies for diabetes patients.

"When MicroClear's fundus camera entered the Czech market, it attracted a lot of attention. Based on the national scale of diabetic retinopathy screening and the proportion of the diabetic population, we look forward to MicroClear's fundus camera providing us with more support in medical facilities, diagnosis, and other aspects," Ivo Bilinec explained.

At the end of the conference, MicroClear's General Manager, Li Chaohong, shared his insights on "Clinical Applications of Wide-Angle Laser Camera in Retinal Vascular Diseases," providing a detailed interpretation of the non-invasive, high-speed imaging, and high-resolution features of the wide-angle laser camera. The clear display of cone cells, density calculation, and precise measurement of blood flow velocity, as well as the thickness of vascular walls inside and outside, have significant clinical and research implications.
