Adil El Maftouhi, French ophthalmic imaging expert

‘The machine is very easy to operate, fast imaging while ensuring high-quality images.’  Adil El Maftouhi, a French ophthalmic imaging expert, said that before this exhibition, he had tried MicroClear’s Apollo in Switzerland, and obtained a very satisfactory trial experience. The unique cells and blood flow tools option aroused his intense interest, and he looks forward to further research and application of this functional module in the future.

‘It only takes less than 20 seconds to capture an image, which is very suitable for clinics with a large number of outpatients.’ The Swiss ophthalmologists were very surprised by the fast image acquisition function of the MicroClear Apollo. According to him, the Swiss ophthalmology outpatient volume is about 20-50 per day. The long examination time makes it difficult for them to respond to the needs of more patients promptly. Such a device that can achieve rapid examination can help them significantly improve their work efficiency, serving more patients.

In addition to efficient inspection speed, MicroClear CRO/CRO PLUS also have industry-leading mature applications in the field of cataract, which is the focus of this conference. The ultra-wide-angle laser scanning CRO has multiple wavelengths and strong penetrating power, which can separate better the retina layers and penetrate stronger through cataracts and eye opacities. Unaffected by the bright environment and without the need for mydriasis, Apollo could picture small pupils 1.5mm, compared with traditional optical cameras. With 150° for a single image and over 240° for two mosaics, peripheral retinal pathologies can be fully observed and the risk of missed diagnosis is reduced. It has an absolute advantage in clinical application.

‘It perfectly solves the shooting problems of low cooperation of infants and young children and turbidity of refractive media in the elderly group, and is suitable for a wide range of patients.’ ‘With the two core functions of ultra-wide-angle confocal laser scanning imaging and angiography in such a small device, MicroClear technology holds its own against the most renowned brands.’ On-site experiencers said that both in terms of product functions and price, MicroClear’s Apollo is the best choice for eye clinics.
