Microclear @AAO 2023

The 2023 American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) Annual Meeting was successfully held in San Francisco from 3rd to 6th November,  which is the most influential scientific meeting in the field of ophthalmology. MicroClear participated in the exhibition and presented the APOLLO ultra-widefield confocal laser fundus camera, and our handheld family products, which include Luna --our handheld Fundus Camera, Athena -- our handheld Vision Screener and Hyperion -- our handheld Slit Lamp. Microclear was highly appreciated by many overseas experts and peers during AAO 2023.

In the field of ophthalmology diagnosis, Microclear provides a total solution from myopia prevention and control to fundus diagnosis, which is based on a close focus on the pain points of clinical needs. Microclear's self-developed APOLLO ultra-widefield confocal laser fundus camera attracted the attention of many ophthalmologists and industry colleagues.

APOLLO ultra-widefield confocal laser fundus camera perfectly solves the problem of small imaging range and unclear imaging of traditional optical camera. It adopts confocal laser scanning technology, with strong penetrating scanning laser as the light source, which can easily deal with the turbid condition of the fundus and ensure high-definition imaging. There is no need for darkroom and pupil dilatation in shooting, and it can capture 150°wide-angle HD fundus image in 0.12 seconds, and the jigsaw puzzle can be up to 240°, which can comprehensively capture the subtle lesions occurring in the periphery of the retina. Combined with the world's first non-destructive optical zoom technology, it is not necessary to change the lens, and the angle can be switched in one click.The function of real-time preview of 16 frames/second HD images and saving of video recordings greatly facilitates effective communication between doctors and patients and provides a traceable basis for disease diagnosis and treatment assessment. The Blood Vessel/Cones pattern provides more possibilities for medical research.
